Proposed revisions for the UD Course Catalog:

Enrollment in online course sections for full-time matriculated undergraduate students at the Newark campus shall be restricted to one (1) online course during each fall and spring semester except if enrolled in an approved online program.  Proctored exams, if required, must be taken at a UD-approved testing site or through an online authentication and proctoring service in cases where a student does not have reasonable access to an approved testing facility. Exceptions to these restrictions may be made by the Dean’s office of the student’s “home” college for adequate cause. The above University-wide enrollment restriction does not apply to summer and winter sessions. Departments, programs, or majors may place additional restrictions on enrollment in online courses (e.g. a minimum GPA requirement, no online courses in a major, etc.).

An alternative:

Enrollment in undergraduate or graduate online course sections may be restricted by departments, programs, or majors (e.g. a minimum GPA requirement, only juniors and seniors, no online courses in a major, no online courses during a regular semester, etc.). Proctored exams, if required, must be taken at a UD-approved testing site or through an online authentication and proctoring service in cases where a student does not have reasonable access to an approved testing facility (e.g. in another state).
