Rationale:

(Explain your reasons for creating, revising, or deleting the curriculum or program.)

1.  IFST 221 is being split into 2 courses:

IFST 220 Child Development I:  Prenatal to Age 3 &

IFST 221Child Development II: Ages 3-10

IFST 221 will have IFST220 as a prerequisite.  All 3 will be offered every semester.

2.  IFST 410 The Hospitalized Child will not be offered anytime soon because the current faculty with expertise in this area is retiring.
