Dear Karren,

As per an email request that I received this morning from Vicki Cassman who is now in Cuzco, Peru, I support the curricular changes she has proposed to be made to the undergraduate Art Conservation major concentrations as follows:
1. To allow a choice to be made between the following two courses: 3 credits of either Color Mixing and Matching or the Science of Color.
2. Eliminate the two Art Conservation undergraduate concentrations.  Replace this with one major: Material Culture Preservation.
3. Reduce the number of required Studio Materials and Techniques courses from 2  (3 credit) courses to 1 (3 credit) course.
